The Tiger Who Came to Tea – Radlett Centre

This Friday, the cast and creative of the production of Judith Kerr’s The Tiger Who Came to Tea will be getting involved in Wear It Wild.

In their promotional video, actors Abbie, Ashley and Harry explain how they plan to support WWF with Wear It Wild 2017. On October 20th, The trio will be performing at Radlett Centre in Hertfordshire, and are giving theatre-lovers the unique opportunity to wear animal inspired fancy dress to the show to raise funds for Wear It Wild.

As the stage production brings Kerr’s iconic children’s story to life, the show promises oodles of magic, sing-a-long-songs and clumsy chaos – tickets are £12.50, or family tickets can be purchased at £42. Get creative and arrive ready to watch the show in your costume!

The production are raising awareness for WWF’s annual fundraising event and asking all those who get involved to take a photo of their tiger outfit and tag them on Twitter @tigerstealive.

Why Wear It Wild? In 2010, after the number of tigers in the wild plummeted by a staggering 95%, just 3200 were estimated to be left in the world. Since then, for the first time in tiger conservation history, global numbers have risen to 3900. Over the next five years, working closely with community groups and governments across Asia, WWF aims to double this number to over 6000. Unlike our solitary fur-ocious friends, we need to work together to make a difference this October… Get ready to Wear it Wild!
